Mining~Miners~1890s~Pioneer Milk Can With Miner 49er COOL ADVERTISING WITH A GOLD RUSH MINER PICK & GOLD PAN This is an original very rare small c1890s soldered "PIONEER EVAPORATED MILK CAN" with a full paper label showing a gold rush Miner 49er holding a gold sample and pick with a shovel and gold pan on the ground. It was found deep underground near Calico, California. This tin is only 2 1/2" tall and is by far rarer than the 4 1/2" version. The label is excellent and bright and it was opened with 2 small slits from the bottom thus showing the whole soldered top when displayed. If you collect early mining related advertising...
