Ministry at Cave Club Austin, Texas Frank Kozik The early Kozik, before he moved to Los Angeles, became famous, and made posters of bigger print runs, started in Austin in the punk rock scene. In 1988-89 I thought he had a bright future. I visited his studio and wrote a large article about him for the Austin Chronicle. He gave me some posters out of his files. I bought some others and started collecting him. In the punk era collecting often meant taking posters off bulletin boards. His punk era posters are rare. I love the controversial raw energy which shocked the establishment. You can also see among these early Kozik's the pop style developing which he was later the Kozik trademark. - Nightbyrd Note: Kozik now designs toys and is very popular in Japan. Further note: There are so few of the original punk posters around. For a person or museum building a collection now, the punk period is one area where I see great value and historical significance. 11 x 17 Excellent Condition Item Authenticity Guaranteed Visit us at Authentic and Rare Posters Dear Customers, We at Jeff's World Store take pride in offering a wide selection of authentic and rare posters, folk art and coins.
