The watch very substantial and in a 1.0 oz solid gold case, so requires a secure pocket! The watch has been fully serviced and overhauled by my watch maker and is keeping good verge time. This is a beautifully made English key-wound man's verge pocket watch, dating from ca. 1742, from the middle Georgian period. The watch is in full working order and comes complete with a key for winding and presentation box.
