New Revised Enlarged Published in 1921 by THE MASONIC HISTORY COMPANY Chicago New York London. FULL GOLD GILT!!! This is a 7 volume set of books, finely bound in ornate coverings with gold gilt on all end pages. The endpapers are in rarely seen in FULL gold gilt with masonic symbols stamped into them as well !!. Lots of illustrations in full page color plates, B&W plates, in-line drawings, etc. 2,376 pages. In VERY Fine, MINT Condition, DELUXE Edition! All the gold gilt is in excellent condition. This set is as mint as it gets!!! This set is absolutely wonderful ! Each volume is richly tooled and embossed, with elaborately stamped gold gilted medallions on the front boards. Gilt design work and printing on the spines with mason symbols and double eagles, symbols of the Blue Lodge, Royal Arch, York and Scottish Rites . The front boards are bordered by a richly done embossing. All seven books have rotogravures and at least one color lithograph by William H. Gilbo. The page ends are in full gilt on all three sides, the bindings are strong, the pages are crisp and bright with no writing, marking or tears. The full color plates are bright and intact, Virtually no shelf wear to the top and bottom of spines. No rubbing on corners or bumped corners. All the gold endpapers are present & firmly attached with no cracks or cracking, no writing or marking. The corners are straight and true, no "leaning" to spines no foxing on pages, simply a SUPERB and OUTSTANDING set. This is a rare find in such excellent condition...... is your chance to own an authentic piece of Masonic history at a reasonable price. These books are an excellent investment as market prices continue to go up and these books keep appreciating in value. Get them while you can!!!
