This is a fantastic 1960's advertising lighter. It is double sided advertising and reads "Pepsi / Birmingham, Ala." On one side. The other reads "Mountain Dew". The logos are in perfect condition. The facings appear to be enamel and are just beautiful. � The bottom of the lighter reads "Allied Advertising Agency / Corinth, Miss. / Japan". This must mean that the item was manufactured in Japan on behalf of the advertising agency in Mississippi and sold to the Buffalo Rock / Pepsi / Mountain Dew company in Birmingham, Alabama. It comes in its original box and little wrapping paper. It is simply an outstanding piece! The lighter does not appear to have ever been used. Please see the photos for your own evaluation.
