's a custom ordered #5-7" Randall "Camp and Trail" knife. One of their best all-purpose knives, it was carried by famous outdoorsman like Ross Allen and Bradford Angier. This model is favored by sailors, yachtsmen, and campers, because of its functional straight blade, and thumb notches in front of the brass reduced hilt allowing for a sure grip. This is one of the first Randall knives I bought on eBay, and I was in too much of a hurry to notice that the sheath is for a 7" model. It was years later before I realized the error, so I don't know now whether the seller sent me the wrong one, or not. The Johnson rough back is the correct period, but I am including a Ralph Bone smooth-back Johnson 6" sheath, which fits the knife beautifully. Maurice Johnson made both sheaths. The Bone sheath was never used, and has its original white stone. The knife itself is in absolutely mint condition, hand forged of 1/4" 0-1 tool steel, and the overall length is a smidge under 11 inches. Please see my other auctions.
