DESCRIPTION: American Flyer "NASG Boxcar" (manufactured by Lionel) for the "National Association of S Gaugers" (NASG) Club for 1981. This was the first NASG Convention car produced. Item is Mint and comes in its original factory box! ABOUT THIS ITEM: This item was originally purchased for my personal collection. I purchased it shortly after it was originally made available and inspected it for any missing or damaged pieces. After inspecting it, I left everything in its original factory box where it has remained in its original factory box since then INCLUDES: 4-0700 - 1981 NASG Convention Box Car with opening doors , standard die cast freight trucks and operating knuckle couplers. Car is Mint and comes in its original factory box. It is my understanding that Lionel did not ship these early pieces of rolling stock in plastic bags. I packaged the car in a new plastic bag to help prevent any shipping damage. PLEASE NOTE: This item is considered a STANDARD sized item. If you purchase other items that are identified in their listings as STANDARD SIZED (such as standard sized box cars, standard sized reefers, standard sized tank cars, standard sized hoppers, standard sized gondolas, standard sized flat cars, standard sized cabooses. etc.) I will only charge $3.00 shipping for each ADDITIONAL STANDARD SIZED item when purchased and shipped at the same time. My multiple item shipping discount applies only to items identified as “STANDARD SIZED” in their listings. Here is how it works. When you purchase multiple STANDARD SIZED items on the same day, I start with the posted shipping charge for the STANDARD SIZED item with the HIGHEST shipping amount and then add $3.00 for each ADDITIONAL STANDARD sized item that you purchase that day. Any of my listings that identify an item as NON-STANDARD sized (usually larger and heavier rolling stock, sets and accessories) are NOT eligible for this shipping discount. All items must be purchased on the same day and must be shipped together in order to qualify for my shipping discount. PAYMENT AND SHIPPING: Most items will ship within 24 hours of payment (excluding holidays/weekends). Usually if your payment clears by 5:00 PM (eastern), your item will ship the next business day. Multiple Items purchased at the same time and NON-STANDARD SIZED pieces will usually be shipped using FedEx ground or UPS ground (though on occasion I use USPS First Class or USPS Priority Mail). Since FedEx and UPS do not ship to Post Office boxes, I can only ship to a "confirmed" PayPal street address. Sorry, no PO Boxes, APOs or FPOs. A Tracking Number/Delivery Confirmation Number is included. For individual STANDARD SIZED pieces of rolling stock, I usually use USPS. Seller is not responsible for any damages or lost items incurred during shipping. If you would like to add insurance, please add $2.00 before paying the invoice OR if you cannot revise the invoice, do not immediately pay the invoice but instead send me an eBay message requesting insurance and I will update your invoice with the $2.00 insurance charge and then reissue the invoice.
