Never run through a dishwasher. The bowl simply wasn't used as she had silver ones. Collector's items, yet eminently appropriate for contemporary use.Parents were serious about entertaining in a way I am not. Keep in mind these are FAMILY ESTATE ANTIQUES we have for sale - about 100 years old, not brand new, on the silver expect little dings, marks, tarnish, wax etc, yet look great on a formal table or sideboard!
