Wonderful retro late 1950s MINT Cambridge blue Conway Stewart "Smoothline" nib fountain pen and mechanical pen set in original box. Its is extremely rare to find this set together in completely mint condition. The box is gorgeous with a beautiful blue and gold pattern and a cream silky lining inside. “Smoothline medium, USA” marked on nib. The Smoothline nibs are very smooth writers. A squeeze filler inside. One small mark on the filler as per picture - most probably manufacturing glitch as the pen has never been used. The rubber is completely unused inside pencil cap. The pen is 13cm long and the mechanical pencil 12.5cm. The mechanical pencil still has its original lead intact. I think these two boxed together have a lovely period feel and are highly collectable in this state. and do check out the other pens I am selling as I begin to clear out my collection.
