You are bidding on a never used mint condition authentic Montblanc 144 Classique black and gold Fountain Pen. This pen has a minor pin dot flaw in the resin near the bottom of the barrel (see photo) and this is why the pen is selling for a quarter of its actual retail price of over $400.00. Luxuriate in the riches of handcrafted precious rich resins of perfectly balanced weight and proportion, flawless design and precise German engineering. Nearly a century ago Montblanc began to produce what is now considered the ultimate in writing instruments combining together the finest quality craftsmanship and beauty. This Classique Fountain Pen bears the famous White Star inlaid logo atop it’s cap, three gold-plated rings around cap base and the Meisterstuck (masterpiece) wording embossed all around, a gold-plated clip with individual serial number on clip band. The magnificently engraved platinum and 14carat gold combination medium nib is fed by a standard cartridge (included). 5½� closed, 6” open with cap on back. Gift boxed, not orig. box.
