Attention: Valued Customers This is our last auction of theSpring!. We will be back in November with our full line of knives, buckles, and other fine items. This is an original Marble's 5" Ideal with a stag handle and pommel, a nd this knife is in factory mint condition, in the original Marble's box! This knife has a pinned stag handle and a stag pommel--it was an exclusive made for A.G. Russell, and they made only 400 knives like this! The left side of the blade is marked: "Marbles / Gladstone / Mich. USA". The right side is marked: "Circa 1939 Blade". The handle is pinned stag. The double guard is brass, the pommel is stag. The knife measures 9" overall. The sheath is tough brown leather with "Marble's" on the face. This k nife and sheath are in the old two-piece box with the bobcat on the lid. The spacers (black-brass -white- red-white-brass-black) date this knife to 2000, according to a 2000 Marble's catalog we have. The blade sleeve is the old orange one with the moosehead and: "If It's Marble's It's Quality". The box is the old two-piece one with the bobcat on the lid. This knife was made specially for A.G. Russell's Knife Collectors Club; with the knife you get the descriptive brochure that came with it, from A.G. Russell.
