Why is this steel so special--It is finished by a process called "Ice Tempering" which gives the knife excellent edge holding ability. This knife has that steel. The blade length is 3.5" and on the left side "T. D. Daughterty, MWC, OK" is stamped. On the right side you have the IFR Global Symbol and 1991. The blade has a mirror finish and it is RAZOR sharp!! The handles are resin treated Dymond wood to give it superior weather ability and resistance to moisture. The scales are attached to the full tang blade with 2 brass pins. The knife also has solid brass bolsters. It has a great in hand feel!! The sheath is made for the pouch and features brown 7-8 ounce leather in a pouch sheath that has been fitted for the knife and heavy stitching.
