This magnificent antique mint vase is 7 1/4" tall and has twin handles.The vase is unusually shaped and has all the detail and great coloring that only comes from Nippon. Fully signed on the base with the blue " Hand Painted Nippon " mark this has always been cabinet kept. Wider at 8" it has so many unique features I do not know w to begin. T are 3 tiny red " Jewels " in the center of the flowers at the front and six thumbprint depressions that circle the collar. T is a real 3D effect and it looks like you could pick these flowers right off the vase. Please note the hundereds of tiny gold dots that have been applied with a brush containing only one bristle around the collar and the base. Our florals are in bright off white, oranges, blues and greens all over a muted gold background that causes this piece to actually shimmer in the light. This shows no evidence of ever being used.
