This is the other VINTAGE MARBLES WOODCRAFT BOY SCOUT HUNTING KNIFE that I promised to put up for you to add to your Marbles Knife and other sporting goods collection! This one is exactly like the one that I am now offering this week. The only difference is that it is rare to find one in this condition and to also to find it as an Official Boy Scout version. It comes from the same collection of a WWII veteran who took immaculate care of his cutlery. It still has the original fine factory finish-grinding surface on the blade. It is stamped with the stamp used from 1911 forward -Marbles, Gladstone , Mich , U.S.A. It has alternating Brass/Black/Red and Leather handle sections with the birds head aluminum pommel. The Blade is very clearly stamped with " Official Knife Boy Scouts of America " the Boy Scouts Insignia Logo, and " BE PREPARED ". The Leather Sheath is perfect and has the Marbles; Gladstone , Mich stamped Snap; that works perfectly. The knife measures 8 1/2" in overall length and the Blade is the distinctive 4 1/2" upswept blade. The back of the blade has the knurled thumb grip. This one has a full blade with only the most micro super light dressing to the edge and a few very light water spots. This one is in mint condition and is listed in the 14 th edition of the 'Official Price Guide to Collector Knives' by C. Houston Price.
