You are bidding on a mint ww1 era French model 1886/91/16/35 Lebel Epee bayonet. It is in excellent condition, well cared for and well greased, it has survived nearly 100 years in excellent condition. The lebel bayonet was exceptionally popular with the French infantry, who nicknamed it 'Rosalie'. Many of the first AEF doughboys were initially armed by the French, and carried French weapons into war. A nice, collectible piece for the bayonet collector or collector looking for the perfect accesory to a lebel rifle.
