These coins vary in condition. The worst of the lot are pictured together in photo 5 (1901-O & 1921-D) - notice worn eye area around Liberty. On the reverse of 1901-O you will notice feathers on eagle's wings are worn and a bit distorted. All have some surface scratches, but the lot is in good condition overall! These coins not only will make a beautiful addition to any collection, but are a sound investment, as the price of silver continues to rise. Background Info: The Morgan Dollar was named after its designer, George T. Morgan. The Morgan Dollar coin was the first standard U.S. silver dollar minted since production of that denomination ceased due to the passage of the Fourth Coinage Act, an act that also ended the free coining of silver. The front depicts a profile portrait representing Liberty, facing left. The reverse depicts an eagle with wings outstretched, clutching an olive branch.
