Minton & Hollis Co. Handsome 3 Part Tea Rose Decorated Fireplace Tile Set, circa 1890. These aqua glazed tiles have raised molded Victorian tea rose designs with a great classical rams head and swag jardinière as a base.
Each of the three 6" square tiles is marked on reverse Minton & Hollis C o, Patent Tile Works Stoke on Trent N o. 2 EWB A great accent piece framed or reset in a fire surround. In my other auctions I am also offering blank tiles that would complete a fire surround. Keep watch for more sets in my other auctions as I offer additional sets of these tiles in assorted patterns. All recently acquired from a turn of the century hotel, prior to demolition. Each tile in good overall condition, with even crazing and some minor chips or scrapes. Mortar is present on sides and backs from prior installation which cleans very easily. Large Images shown below, tiles sold AS IS. Continental U.S. Buyer pays $10.00 S & H.
