Rough and romantic seascape on an antique Minton tile. It shows a sailboat tied up by an old tower in a storm tossed harbour. Executed in sepia.
The tile is in a footed frame made of bent wire so it can be used as a trivet. 6" square Very Good condition. Flakes missing from two corners and well crazed. Wire frame is not level. "Minton China Works Stoke-on- Trent" molded into back with globe backstamp. Please see our inventory for more Minton and other British items as well as more fine antiques.
