TEAPOT and SUGAR BOWLmade by MINTON (England) for TIFFANY & COARGYLE (IVORY) PATTERN For auction an absolutely gorgeous teapot and sugar bowl made by Minton (Mintons) England for Tiffany & Co in New York. Lovely gold/gilt decoration on Ivory china in Argyle-Ivory Pattern. Teapot is complete with it's lid as shown, though t is no lid for the sugar bowl. Just consider it an 'open sugar' whether or not it was intended to be! This pattern is a bit rare, and pieces difficult to find, so this one should do just fine regardless! (teapot lid is not interchangeable and does not fit the sugarbowl) Items are in excellent condition with no damage I could see (gold is in great condition, only the slightest of wear if any at all). Marks are as shown in images- the Minton mark looks like one from around the turn of the last century though seems like the pattern might be more modern, so am not sure of the age. Though it did come from the same estate lot as some similar items that are antique, so is likely that it be older as well. (I will be listing more items from that lot in the coming days.)
