Rare, minty, WW2, German, Engraved, Dress Bayonet and Scabbard by F.W. Holler! This rare examples, single engraved, blade is beautifully etched with a WW1 German Bi-plane, Oakleaves and with "in memory of my service"(translated) and is maker marked "F.W. HOLLER / SOLINGEN". The blade rates almost mint with some faint in and out rub marks and has been carefully repointed(many more pictures available upon request). The fittings rate excellent and show some light wear. The handles rate minty with no cracks or wear. The locking mechanism functions perfectly. The felt, groove cushion has been lost to time. The scabbard is stamped and numbered at the top of the throat and rates almost excellent with some light pitting at the ball end and retains 95% of its original black finish with some light scratches. Overall, a beautifully engraved, rare, WW2, German Bayonet! NOTE: This item has no offensive symbols anyw! Please let me know if you have any questions or additional pictures that you may need.
