Fresh out of a wealthy Connecticut estate this is a vintage and 100% original Singer 221 featherweight sewing machine. This machine is in excellent working condition and ready to use. The machines black paint is excellent it has a mirror like finish. The chrome is also ,like a mirror (really mint) The black plastic (bakelite) is also excellent. The serial # is AF 247758 I believe this dates the machine to the late 30's early 40's. The motor is sewing motor # 3-110 it is mint and the black bakelite foot controller is also mint. This machine has a working light and alot of accessories ( please see the pics as I am not familiar with them) I would rate this machine as a 9 out of 10 it is a beauty. The original case is in good shape as well. All in all a super user or a great a addtion to your vintage sewing machine collection. As always no reserve !!!
