Up for sale is this beautiful old all Latin Roman Missale. It is in pretty good condition. As you can see in the photos t are some bad areas on the outside of the cover which I think is red leather. I would think it could be brought back to it's original beauty by a professional. That being said, the inside is in very good condition. As seen in the photos it is beautifully decorated in etchings of Christ and the Saints. The only dates I can find I took a picture of, 1915 and 1912. I do not want to say for sure that this altar missale was printed in 1915 but I would have no problem believing that it was. The pages are gold edged and it opens and closes as it should. It is a very old altar missal and I would really like to see it go to someone who can either use it or will preserve it for its history and art work. Please take a good look at the pictures. I took several of the different art work but ebay only allows me to list 12, so I tried to be sure that you could see some of the defects with the cover. But don't worry about the pages, they are just wonderful. My latin is terrible, so if someone knows any particulars about the missal (if it is a 1915) then please let me know and I'll post your information on the listing.
