Estate fresh from Saugerties, NY, and 100% guaranteed to be as stated an antique and not repro. Listed is a Mission 1910 hand-crafted, signed Roycroft serving tray. The Roycroft Institute is considered to be one of the most successful American craft communities. Founded in 1895, by Elbert Hubbard, an ex-successful soap salesperson, the Roycroft shops were located in East Aurora, New York. This serving tray was found in, "as is" very condition with a slightly worn patina from use. It is true to period arts and crafts. Notice the beauty in the hand-hammered copper and the delightful golded tones it brings. The handles are in an unusual hand turned style that is quite desired. Rivets are perfect and tray is stamped, as pictured. Measures 16" in diameter and 18" from handle to handle. What a beautiful addition this would make to your fine housewares serving or metelware collection. Good luck and good bidding to you...
