Mission Arts Crafts Oak Rocker Chair - LJG Stickley ? for your living room is a beautiful Mission Oak Rocker Chair, possibly a LJG Stickley? I have not found this model in any reference books, but all the signature points of LJG Stickley construction and quality are Beginning with red oak, this very interesting rocker has mortise and tenons that are pinned, thru-posts on the arms, and a single vertical back slat. Most notable of this form are the gentle arches along the bottom of the seat rails that provide delicate tension and balance with the rocker rails. Arched aprons were a favorite detail of LJG items. Overall, this rocker is in excellent condition with original finish that has been overcoated. A new seat has been added that is a soft leattted over a thick foam and frame. The size is a medium at 34in tall by 26in wide by 29in long. A Very nice chair for your home! Please email any questions or info you may have. Thank you for looking!
