MISSION OAK ARTS & CRAFTS DESK IN SOLID TIGER OAK WITH HIDDEN RAISED PANELED BOOKCASES AND FULL WRITING BOX & FILE ORGANIZER (PRICE REDUCED FOR FAST SALE) Allston Antiques takes the utmost pride in offering you this truly remarkable Mission Oak Stickley era Arts & Crafts desk in solid quartersawn oak, completely finished all around in the finest raised panels (unheard of on a true Mission Oak Desk), an ingenious lift up & tuck away right & left side door hide away bookcase compartments, fat chunky legs with a large base stretcher and a most clever enclosed pull out top drawer covered writing box compartment with rear flip up file organizer and ink well. This desk is in an exceptional untouched original condition. Please excuse some white spots in our photos. Those are dust particles caught by the digital camera. It took a long time to figure out the phantom white spots but thats what they are. The warehouse is stuffed with stunning pieces and we had to shoot these on the run. This absolutely remarkable super quality true period mission oak desk remained in one family for over 90 years and was extremely well cared for. We have sold several 100 Mission desks over the last several years and this represents our very best. Its not a Stickley but we feel its every bit the quality with some extremely unique features you won't find on a Stickley desk and all for a mere fraction of the Stickley cost.
