DESCRIPTION OF THIS EBAY SALE: This was acquired out of a Central Ohio area previous estate, home or sale. WOW!!!!! They don't come much nicer than this! We looked this over for a name but could not find one. This is probably made by the Rockford Furniture Co. of Illinois. This is a very very heavy and well made quartersawn Oak Mission Arts & Crafts Parlor Library Table Desk Bookcase. As you can see in the photos below, on each side this has book shelf areas of 23 inches wide, 12 ¾ inches tall and WOW bookshelf space of 12 inches to slide a book into. In other words... a rather wide book. The outside dimensions of this original finish Bookcase Desk is 48 inches wide, 28 inches front to back and this stands 30 inches tall. As you can see in the photos below, this has nice original cooper hand hammered style hardware. This is made approx. 1905-15 and has the original finish. The top kneehole drawer is 18 ½ inches wide, 17 inches front to back and 4 ¼ inches deep. Underneath the spade cut outs on each side you will find A RARE TO FIND BOTTOM DRAWER ON EACH SIDE that are 10 inches wide, 17 inches front to back and 4 inches deep.
