This beautiful oak collection box features a simple cross made in Jerusalem of olive wood. Measuring outside dimensions of approximately 11 inches side-to-side (including the lion head handles), 5 1/2 inches front to back, 8 1/2 inches tall, this chest is made from red oak using dado construction, and finished with a dark walnut stain. Antique brass hardware accentuates the natural beauty of the wood. A hasp on the front allows for a padlock to keep the box reasonably secure in a public environment. The slot in the curved top measures approximately 4 inches by 1/2 inch to accept cash, notes or envelopes. Because each chest is individually handcrafted t may be slight variations in the pattern of the wood from the images shown. See More!
