I know absolutely nothing about vintage marbles. These were found at a local estate, items dated to 1880's All of these marbles do not roll straight The largest is 4 3/4" circumference and looks to be played with hard I believe it to be an onionskin marble ~ I think I have the following marbles: opaque swirl , transparent swirl , custard swirl , and a transitional slag , Akro Agates ~ The clear one has a wonderful blue on the inside it may be a single ribbon core swirl ? Thanks I HAVE MORE PICTURES OF THE LARGE ONION SKIN MARBLE. I THINK IT IS HANDMADE AND HAS A PONTIL MARK. PLEASE E-MAIL ME IF YOU WANT ME TO SEND THE PICTURES. THANKS. Sorry, I keep adding info due to many questions... It looks like the antique 1800's ? marbles that may have a pontil point are the orange/yellow/brown, (with a thread of green) swirl marble right next to the huge one. The light blue on the bottom row, the green and white one on the top left. The huge onionskin stands 1 1/4" tall ~ 4 5/8" when measured around with a tape measure. Hope this helps.
