The MP-60 Cut Muscle™ Cavity continues to maximize the performance for today's more demanding game. The Grain Flow Forged MP-60 is 4% larger and has a 10% larger sweet area when compared to its outstanding Cut Muscle counterpart, the MP-32. The Cut Muscle design in the MP-60 delivers a slightly higher ball flight in the long irons, and a mid trajectory in the scoring irons, while the Cut Muscle design precisely positions the COG in each club for a consistent and predictable ball flight. THE 6 THRU PW ARE MP 67 Continuing the award winning success of Cut Muscle TM technology, the Mizuno product development team has developed a new muscle back iron featuring an innovative "Slender" Cut Muscle design. This new Slender Cut Muscle TM allows the player complete ball control by pin-pointing the COG inside the muscle back design. Utilizing our Grain Flow Forging ® and Cut Muscle TM technology, the design team was able to provide a neutral COG relative to the shaft axis and a consistent sweet spot location for exact trajectory and distance control. The cambered sole of the MP-67 TM allows the player precise shot making capability from all types of lies. The MP-67 TM long irons achieve a mid-high trajectory, while the scoring irons deliver a mid trajectory. The MP-67 TM offers unmatched ball control by utilizing a new "Slender" Cut Muscle TM Design to precisely position the COG from iron to iron. What is a “Balanced & Blueprinted Club?” 1) I start by checking the lie and loft, because if they are to far off, it might effect on the swing weight if I have to bend them after they are done. 2) I pull the shaft out and clean the hosel & check the depth of the hosel to make sure they are consistent to receive the shaft. 3) I Prep all the shaft tips and put the shafts in the spine finder and mark them. 4) Measure the shaft on the measuring board to make sure the length is exactly at 1/2" increments (PW is 1/4") 5) Weight sort the grips to make sure all 8 grips are the same weight 6) Install the grips and make sure they line up straight and consistently stretch (on cord is critical for sizing). 7) Installed ferrules, swing weight them and mark for lead plug adjustment. 8) Install a lead plug and swing weight them to make sure it's within MY acceptable tolerance of 1/4 - 1/2 of a point in most cases. Mix the professional epoxy (cure rate 24 hours) and glue them making sure the spine position is in the correct spot and make sure they have the same amount of glue to maintain a consistent swing weight. 9) Let the glue dry at least 24 hrs. 10) Turn the ferrules and shine them up w/acetone.
