This item has been re-listed due to not meating the reserve price. the reserve price has been lowered and the buy it now is stoopidly low firstly i will try and explain what i have done to my car that i have had for over 22 years from front to back and underneath. so here we go, i will start off at the back, the rear bumper was poor so i baught a new one off e-bay for £75 about a year ago as my orriginal one had a dint in it of the car trailer when it got hit one time.the tow barr bracket and ball were all sanded down primered and painted black, and also re-wired.inside the boot had been all cleaned out , wire brushed , primered and painted radient red, the botton of the spair wheel well and under the tank is in very good condition.i also baught a new boot carpet with the spare wheel cover on it and glued that down on the boot floor.i also placed the battery tray into the boot as i didnt have a lot of space in the engine bay then the cable from the battery to the engine bay is connected to a bulk head sollenoid for ease of connection then down to the started motor.the axle is a german type and is a rear loader that has a 3.44 diff, this casing has been cut and welded shorter to the same size as an english type.then the two half shafts were friction welded at comercial propshaft on team valey that cost £160 for the pair.the leaf springs are CD8's ( 4 leaf ) and each one was wire wheel sanded down to metal primed and painted then each one was greased up and then the rear hangers were fully fitted with polyurathain bushes top and bottom and the front spring bushes were also replaced with polly ones. also the top and bottom saddle rubbers were also polly replaced too.the anti tramp bars have also been cleaned and painted with good buses in them too.the shocks are brand new billy's and adjustable but set prety hard at the moment.The rear brake drums are off a 2.8 capri so these are the wider drums and they work great the hand brake works very well..just under the boot floor i have a brand new heigh preasure puel pump and filter and they are protected by a painted metal box to stop any splashes from getting into it, then i have 10mm copper pipe running along the chassis rail goin up to the engine bay.connecting from the diff to the type 9 5 speed gearbox is a single peice prop that was made for me and was ballanced at compercial propshaft for £55.all under the shell and floor was wire brushed down to bare metal primed and waxoiled several times to build a good layer up.you can see this a bit in some of the pics.moving to the front end i have a modified crosmember where i have fitted uprated engine mounts so there is very little movement at all, with new steel mounts made connecting to the engine. i have an anti dive kit with the double width kit but with 3 new polly bushes on it. i have two new ball joints and again with polly bushes insibe and out. a reconditioned steering rack with new guaters new TCA's, the two steering rack bushes are also polly too.the struts started life off as bilsteens with rollertop mounts, but then upgraded to coilovers , springs and an adjustable kit, this lot cost about £240 or more, the rollertops have been striped and cleaned and are in good condition still.the brake calipers a princess 4 pots and the 8 pistons and seales were replaced over a year ago costing £85 for pistons and seals.the brake disks are actualy BMW 320 disks machined dows to fit as this conversion is shown on turbosport on how to do it, but i must say that i do have a warped disk that needs changing ( you can feel this on the brake pedal ) so not a big job realy.Inside the car i have a bias pedal box setup so you can adjust the preasure from front to back if you need.lol,, that cost £110 when i got it with 2 new cylinders on it about 1 1/2 year ago.
