This teapot is fantastic. It is 7.25 inches across and 5.5 inches tall. T has been repair to the lid (not particularly skilled and a very skilled repair to a small chip on the bottom of the spout. I have not cleaned this, as it would remove the repairs. And, the staining to the pot does not dull the colors, which are wonderful. I think this is called seaweed mochaware. The handle is in excellent condition and have the classic 18th century foliate terminus on the handle. T appears to be a pearlware blue tint, but without cleaning, Who knows. This has a piece of paper with notes and the date 1780 on it, but it is barely legible. It will be included in the sale to the winner. This is an excellent addition to any soft paste or Early English porcelain collection. Call me with any quesitons.
