Thickness #/4 Ricasso Mark - Henry Boker Solingen Brass Hilt two Branch Guard Mod 1860 type Brown buff leather pad at blade (No throught guard) Grip wood shallow grooves Leather covered 11 turns around grip 13 twist per inch leather seam Not many of these saber turn up Considered to be one of the best made contractors fot the US Army Cavalry Much of this information can be found in Civil War Cavalry & Artillery Sabers by John H. Thillmann Thye scabbard has two light ding. They are not serious just honest field wear.
