B & K Model 1076 TV Analyst This device is the TV serviceman's best friend. It has a full array of features which allow a technician to quickly isolate a defect in a tube-type set to just one stage, or a few components in a stage. When used with an oscilloscope, it is a quick, accurate way to diagnose TV receiver defects. I connected the RF-IF to a TV set to channel 4 and got a signal when I switched RF-IF selector to channel 4 and IF tunning.When I waved a stick in front of the internal TV tube, I could see it move on my TV monitor.I also got a color band test pattern on my TV monitor.I connected some of the outputs and verfied the following signals; VIDEO, SYNC, 400 SINE, HORIZ GRID DRIVE, AGC KEYING PULSE, Other than that, I don't know enough about the operation to test anything else.It is used with some slight wear on the case and front panel, see picture. B&K's Television Analyst models 1076 contain a CRT-based scanner and a photomultiplier (PMT) pickup tube. The 1076 contains 16 tubes, including a PMT and a five-inch CRT.
