Model airplane kit, PDQ "Flying Clown", control line. This kit is in very good condition and appears undisturbed. Plans a decal are also excellent. This is the early box which makes it very collectible. Most of the later kits had plain boxes and the last ones didn't even have a label on the box. The Clown series were designed by Matt Kania who also designed the Ringmaster for Sterling. The plan recommends engines such as the Ohlsson & Rice 19 23 or 29, so it kind of dates it to the very early 50's. Wing span is 28".I added another photo to show a viewer verification that all the wing ribs are still in the die cut sheets and the leading and trailing edges are present. The kit is definitely complete and undisturbed.
