MODEL RAILROADER - Volumn 14, January - December 1947. "The Model Railroader - Frank Taylor, Editor", 1947 Kalmbach Publishing Co. Milwauee 3, Wis.

I believe this to be an original bound edition, as evidenced by the bound in "Annual Index for Volumn 14, Calendar Year 1947" as this book has all 12 issues, I am guessing it was actually published in 1948. This is the smaller format size of MR measuring 7" x 10-5/8".

This book is used, but is in Very Nice Condition considering it's age ( The mottled look on the front cover was photographer foo-pah, I was trying to take natural light pictures at dusk and tried a different setting on the camera. If you look at the other MR's I will be listing after this one, you will see better pictures of what all of these books covers look like ). Please note that the printing on the cover & spine have faded or worn away in places. The spine while not New Book tight, seems to be in Very Good condition. In the January issue t is a fold out diagram of a Steam engine that wasn't quite re-folded correctly at some time in the past and the edges are frayed from sticking out of the book. The Jan, Feb & Mar issues appear to have been printed on a different kind of paper, as they have all turned a brown color. The pages are clean with no noticed tears ( except as noted on the fold-out diagram listed above ). T is some age coloration on the edges. T is also that "old book" smell, some would call a faint mustiness smell ( I think with a good airing out this would dissapate considerably, but this is speculation on my part ). With all the above said, this item is s old "AS-IS".
