MODELCRAFT 1/48 NORTH AMERICAN F-82G TWIN MUSTANG NIGHT FIGHTER + EDUARD ETCHED FRET KIT No.M48022 NIB I am reluctantly selling by auction from my collection the rare Modelcraft 1/48 scale kit of the North American F82G Twin Mustang night-fighter, kit No.48022. This is a complex project for experienced modellers as the basic kit is somewhat crude and inaccurate, but can be completed to produce an impressive replica, as the second photo (lifted from Hyperscale) shows. I am also including the extensive Eduard etched fret which includes complete cockpits and sundry other details. Prospective buyers are advised to look at Internet reviews first! The example for sale was purchased new (from a model shop in Norwich) and, apart from a cursory inspection of the contents, has not been touched. The box is very flimsy, however, and has suffered somewhat in storage. The contents are absolutely fine. Opening auction price for this interesting and challenging kit + etched fret is a bargain £14.99 and First Class UK postage is £3.50. UK bidders only, please.
