Modern Abstract Figure PaintingBeautiful and small painting of a portrait, back reads "George Dyer 3 and 1981" I think, it is smudged and hard to read. (see pic) Portrait composition with bold expressive strokes and colors. There are some textured areas as seen in the photos. Also, I believe this is painted on the reverse side of the canvas, as the back is primed smooth white.measures about 16 x 20 (inches) or 40 x 50 cmsthis appears to be done in oil paint on canvas.please see all photographs for detail information and surface texture/colorALSO: NO FRAME is included in sale,All my items have been acquired over many years from Second hand stores, thrift stores, estate sales similar places.My wife and I buy and have bought so much art over the years,we are a bit of estate sale addicts. some art we display and most goes into storage. We have 2 storage containers as our collection has grown such.we have run into some great gems over the years.Not knowing the old history of these pieces, I can only sell these as "in the manner of the artist".
