Beautiful Service for 8 Modern Victorian by Lunt Beautiful shape for being 'used' Mono "C" I am pleased to be able to offer a set of sterling flatware that is in beautiful condition. The simple design is crisp and clean and the mirror polished surfaces show only the usual use and storage marks commensurate with a sterling service of this apparent age. This is a sterling service that would compliment your finest china and yet be perfectly at home with your every day Corele. T are no serious dings, tings, or dents to indicate abuse or neglect. This set was obviously well taken care of. Each piece nests easily and t are no bent tines or snagged, raggedy bowls. The knife blades are shiny and bright and t are no pits or stains or ragged edges. Now... to the particulars. As mentioned above, this set is a service for 8 8 knives - 8 7/8 inches (monogrammed) 8 dinner forks - 7 1/4 (monogrammed) 8 salad or dessert forks - 6 1/4 (monogrammed) 8 teaspoons - 6 (monogrammed) 7 coffee or dessert spoons - 5 5/8 inches (NO mono) 2 Ice Tea or Parfait Spoons (NO mono) 1 Sugar Shell (monogrammed) The case is wood with silvercloth lining. It is in fair shape. Naturally, it wouldn't be mistaken as new, but it sure does look better than most I've seen. Please view the pictures carefully. I generally take my photographs outside in sunlight to accurately depict the colors and conditions of the items I am offering. If you see any discolorations or other anomalies that would indicate damage, it is either the sun, the clouds, the trees, or me. The close up photo of the pattern is the best indicator of the overall condition of this sterling flatware... and no, I do not cherry pick. This wonderful service has been freshly polished by hand and positively glows. Naturally, if you opt to pass on the case... the shipping charges will be significantly reduced. Without the case, the shipping charges would be approximately $12.95 for Priority Mail shipping in the lower 48 states plus Delivery Confirmation. If you are in Alaska or Hawaii, by passing on the case, your shipping charges would be the same as the mainland USA. However, if you need the case then Alaska and Hawaii would be higher. Due to the value of this listing, insurance is required. I try to fully and faithfully disclose any irregularities I find but I am far from perfect and some things may escape my detection. Also, when damage (no matter how minute) I try to make sure that it is clearly depicted in the photos. I believe that I have described the above auction offering accurately and in detail.
