MOLLE Plate Carrier Used Made in Afghanistan Brown Nylon Plate Carrier made by "A. Qahir, Briefcase Makers, Kandahar 'Afganistan'" (see photo). Secures with hook and loop straps around waist. Holds LARGE size replica SAPI plates snugly (I assume it holds the real plates just as well). I have a 52" chest and a 44" waist and the straps fit around my abdomen with one inch on either side to spare. I'm sure this plate carrier has a story to tell. Perhaps it was purchased in the theater by a civilian contractor who brought it to the States after his tour. At any rate, this is a unique piece of military history for the collector. (Yes, American flag is included.)
