This is a vintage ( 1904) MONARCH KEYSTONE STEREOSCOPE and 4 vintage (1906) STEREOVIEW CARDS. They are all in very good condition and show some minimal, normal wear for their age. On the wood of the stereoscope is inscribed "Manufactured By Keystone View Co. Meadville, PA. Pat"d April 12, 1904." ON the tin/metal parton top is the Monarch symbol of the deer and the raised lettering, "Monarch". One of the view cards says 1906 on the back, so I'm assuming the other three are of the same age. Included are the following four cards: #6663 - Cans of Cream Being Put Into Vats of Ice Cold Water #232 (16676) - The Last of a Great Race, The American Bison, California #185 (16710) - Feeding ford Cattle, Man-Hattan, Kansas #199 (13719) - Harvesting Barley With TractorStereoscope works very nicely, giving the pictures a 3-D effect. The cards have bowed slightly with age. Great vintage piece of history! Thanks for looking, and have a great day! Returns accepted within 7 days. Buyer to pay return shipping.
