Mongolian/Tibetan Buddhist Antique Wooden Box

**Note-I got this from the countryside today. Great item-Read below.

**This handmade wooden box is extremely old and in great condition. This box was made with no nails in the fashion that these antiques were made over a hundred years ago. The hinge on the box was made from cows leather. This box was decorated with a great Buddhist symbol all around the box. Nice brass chain and hook on the front. This box was definately in a monastery. It has that smell and color from being on an altar near incense and butter oil lamps. Can be used to store sutras, ritual items etc. This box was once lined with some sutra paper. Some still remains inside.

This is without a doubt, the find of the week for my store. This would be at least $300-400 in any antique shop
