just 3.5" tall and oozing with character! No obvious makers marks, but the rich carmine red acetate glaze originally coating the eyes usually indicates Germany 9or so we are told) The tail forms a handle, which is why we've gone for candlestick rather than match holder. The sconce has a small chip missing from its rim ( see detail photo) Small mark in gold on tray is a mystery to us, but we draw your attention to it anyway. A splendid addition to any monkey themed collection. No reserve.
