Rare, vintage original Monogram 1961 Jaguar XKE model car kit. Kit no. 2601, dated 1964/1976. Very large 1/8th scale car. Very highly detailed and well molded kit from Monogram. This superbly detailed model is one of Monogram's finest achievements. It features opening doors with roll up windows, steerable front wheels, operating front suspension with coil springs. Hood opens to show engine details. Other features include chrome plated wire wheels with knock-offs, and full interior details. All parts are scaled exactly one and one half inches to the foot (1/8 actual size) to insure accuracy of detail. 100% complete including the original instruction sheet and decals. Original box is in very nice condition, one 'lifted' tape mark on the side. Great addition to any collection! From the estate of an avid Model builder and collector.
