This is Monogram’s 1990 release of the Consolidated B-24J " Liberato r" in 1/48 scale. The KIT IS COMPLETE !! INVENTORIED!! I am also including a CD of 2nd generation? jpegs of nose art et al of B-24s from the 15th AF/450BG (H)- Cottontail s/720-723 BS stationed in Manduria, Italy, Dec 43-May 45. ALL photos were originally taken either by my late father or other members of the 450th . I scanned--or had negatives made-of the original photos--so these are either 1st or 2nd generation scans of original photos or scans of original photos. You get a bunch of nose art photos, a shot of boxer Joe Louis visiting the Cottontails in Sept 1944, and other photos (eg--the 721BS " Tuff Ship " after getting in a runway accident after a BG leading (at that time--Bottoms Up exceeded 100) 65 mi ssions-- photo by the late TSgt edwin Nelson, Crew Chief of "Tuff Ship"--who was kind enough to let me scan his photos ).
