MONOGRAM PRO-MODELER 1/48 MESSERSCHMITT Me410B-1 KIT No.5936 RARE AND HARD TO FIND BNIB I am very reluctantly selling by auction from my collection the exceptionally well-detailed and complex Monogram Pro-Modeler 1/48 scale kit (No. 5936) of the Messerschmitt Me410B-1 Luftwaffe heavy night fighter from the latter stages of WW2 Although not quite as 'state-of-the-art' as the recent Meng tooling, this is still an outstanding kit with delicate moulding and very thin transparencies, but its complexity makes it best suitable for intermediate and advanced skill levels. There are plenty of reviews, as well as more photographs of the parts and completed models, on the internet, and it is very well served by the aftermarket detail providers (Eduard, Aries etc). The example for sale was purchased new from LSA Models in Hove when first released and has not been touched since. The typical rather flimsy Monogram box of the era is slightly distorted, but there are no creases in the cardboard and the shrink-wrap is intact. PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE BUYING IT TO BUILD THAT MONOGRAM DECALS FROM THIS ERA TEND TO DETERIORATE QUICKLY AND THE KIT IS BEING SOLD ON THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY MIGHT NOT STILL BE USABLE.
