You are bidding on a RARE 1968 Monogram 1/400 scale model kit of a Boeing SST Supersonic Transport airplane with United Airlines logos still factory sealed in plastic!! This "Airliner of the Future" which was still a prototype when this model came out. It was to debut in 1970, carry 277 passengers and fly at 1,800 mph. (New York to Paris in under 3 hours). It has the original price of $5.99 which was alot of money back then for a model. This kit comes complete with a display stand. The wings move as on the actual plane. "Monogram's model of the SST has been designed to the latest specifications and configuration of the prototype. Molded in white plastic with the usual Monogram attention to fine detail, the kit includes decal markings, complete instructions, and an attractive display stand.
