You are bidding on a genuine Mont Blanc Meisterstuck Solitaire Gold-plated Classic Fountain and Ballpoint Pen Set. I cannot list them as new since the fountain pen has been inked(I had to see how it worked); otherwise, the pen set has been sitting around collecting dust.
I have no idea what the suggested retail price for this gift set is but I was told by the Monte Blanc people when I bought the ink that they are in the $2000 range. The pen set was a gift from a family friend for being their daughter's guardian while she was attending prep school in Mass.
ITEMS' DESCRIPTIONS
Pen Barrel: Gold-plated, polished, pinstriped
Pocket Clip, Center Rings & End Cap: Gold-plated, polished
The White Star emblem, MONT BLANC's signature, are inlaid on end caps
"MONTBLANC MEISTERSTÜCK No. 146" engraved on center ring of the fountain pen, only "MONTBLANC MEISTERSTÜCK" engraved on center ring of the ballpoint pen.
Unique serial "DB" followed by 5 numeric digits and "W.- GERMANY" imprinted on clip ring of the fountain pen. Unique serial "GB" followed by 6 numeric digits and "W.- GERMANY" imprinted on clip ring of the ballpoint pen.
Writing System: Fountain pen utilizes a unique piston filling system operated by turning the very end section of the barrel. It has a two-tone(gold & ??) 18ct solid gold nib with the etchings 4810, an "M" encircled, and 18K .
Ballpoint with twist-turn mechanism, medium ballpoint tip, black ink
Fountain pen length is about 5.75" and the ballpoint pen is about 5.5". Fountain pen is quite a bit heavier than the ballpoint pen.
Condition: Perfect, free of blemish
Packing: Original Mont Blanc gift box and cardboard sleeve.

I am setting the reserve at a low $500 and hope someone can truly enjoy this more than I. This set would make a perfect Christmas gift for that someone special even though it may not be brand new but think how much you can be saving!! Just load the fountain pen with Mont Blanc Turquoise ink(that's what I loaded it with to try it out) and you're all set.
