The Solitare Doue is the top of the Masterpiece craft. This pen was inked twice for demonstration but never used. The nib is hand made 18kt. The serial number EX2001224 is laser engraved on the top ring along with the word Germany. It writes like velvet, soft in the hand and easy on the pocket if you like to pocket your pens. I included the advert from the website so you can see the retail price is over $800.00.Like all the pens in my collection I am going to let the market set the price starting with a low entry point and of course FREE POSTAGE. No gimicks, I am simply reducing my collection to the pens I use. Time to minimize the nice collection and get down to more practical limits. All I can tell you is this pen is stunning in its simplicity.
