My Grandmother recently threw out an old desk, and found these fountain pens from the 80's. This pen in particular at a first glance I deemed unimpressive. It wasn't until I visited the Mont Blanc website, and took a tour of how the No149 was manufactured, did I trully appreciate what I'm auctioning. The medals are atleast 14k gold and platinum (If not white gold). When she told me I could sell them on ebay, I really didn't know how special and rare they were. I've kept one of the meisterstruck fountain pens for myself, and will be auctioning two more Mont Blanc Meisterstruck fountain pens, along with this Mont Blanc No 149 Fountain pen. Based on the current bids for No 149 pens that have been already inked, I am setting the reserve at $155.00. Also, I researched this pen for marks of authenticity, and craftsmanship. This Mont Blanc pen I am auctioning is authentic, and has never been used. This pen will definitely be delivered with the case, however the case was sittimg in a desk drawer for atleast twenty years, so the case wont look brand new, but the pen is "Mint Condition"
