It is part of the limited edition - Writer's Edition. According to the Mont Blanc website it was issued in 1999 and only a total of 20,000 pens were issued. This is #19484/20000. T is some tarnish on the sterling accents. T are some fine scratches on the body. This is a used item. It shows wear from age, dirt and use. We do not know if these pens work or if they need repair. We are not experts and can only describe cosmetic problems to the best of our ability. Please ask questions and look at all pictures (you can super-size them) BEFORE bidding to avoid disappointment.
